Professor Adrian Brady

BSc (Hons, summa cum laude), MD, FRCP (Glasg), FRCPE, FBHS, FESC, FAHA Honorary Professor of Cardiology at the University of Glasgow, Consultant Cardiologist, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and Visiting Professor of Cardiology at the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic, USA.  Professor Brady’s major specialities are the clinical aspects and epidemiology of hypertension, lipids, coronary heart disease and pulmonary embolism.

Professor Juan Carlos Kaski

DSc, MD, DM (Hons), FRCP, FESC, FACC, FAHA
Professor of Cardiovascular Science at St George’s University of London, Immediate Past Chairman of the Cardiovascular and Cell Sciences Research Institute at SGUL, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, the American College of Cardiology, the European Society of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and many other major scientific societies worldwide.
Professor Kaski’s main areas of research include microvascular angina, inflammatory and immunological mechanisms of atherosclerosis, biomarkers of cardiovascular risk and coronary artery spasm.

Professor Colin Berry

Sc, MB, ChB, PhD, FRCP(Glasg), FACC
Chair in Cardiology and Imaging in the University of Glasgow. He is Director of Research in the Golden Jubilee National Hospital and a Consultant Cardiologist in this hospital and in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. Professor Berry is currently an Executive Editor of the European Heart Journal, Senior Consultant Editor of Euro Intervention and Editorial Board member of the Cardiovascular Research journal. He is President-Elect of the British Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, Research Lead and Board Member of the British Cardiovascular Intervention Society.

Professor Chim Lang

MD, FRCP (Lond), FRCP (Edin), FACC, FESC
Consultant Cardiologist and clinical pharmacologist and Professor of Cardiology at University of Dundee. Professor Lang leads an integrated cardiovascular research laboratory dedicated to translational research and in the development of biomarkers and novel treatment strategies in patients with cardiovascular diseases.
