Banff & Gamrie Medical Practice has been unable to recruit GPs and discussions have been underway with neighbouring practices to identify a solution which will provide a long-term and sustainable general medical service for the local community.
After positive discussions, Macduff Medical Practice has agreed to take over the care of patients currently registered with Banff & Gamrie Medical Practice. This new service will commence on 13th April.
This will mean that patients currently registered with Banff & Gamrie will be seen by a member of the multidisciplinary team within the Macduff Health Centre, including access to a GP.
